I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hostel called Albergue Camino Do Sar. the family who manages the hostel truly goes above and beyond for their guests. Everything was meticulously taken care of with attention to detail and personal touches that exceeded my expectations. I was especially grateful for the gluten-free breakfast they provided, which was truly exceptional. I also highly recommend trying out the stone salt foot bath they offer, it's a delightful treat. the hostel is conveniently located on the Camino path and just a short walk to the city center. In the mornings, they provide coffee and tea, which is a nice touch. Outside the hostel, there's a stone tub where you can soak your feet, and the staff even provided Epsom salts. the entire facility is clean, and they have a clothesline available for drying clothes. I was impressed with the well-equipped kitchen and the spotless premises. the bunk beds have curtains for privacy, giving you a sense of personal space. Maria, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful. For anyone walking the Camino Portuguese, this hostel is a fantastic choice. Cons: Nothing, everything was great! 😊.

The value for money at this hostel was excellent! The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with great amenities like a good shower and a well-equipped kitchen. The location was convenient, being on the Camino path and a short walk to the city center. The staff, especially the long-haired male receptionist, were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist with anything I needed.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was having a wider variety of food options to choose from.
